Introductions

Hello everyone, my name is Rob Buchheit and I'm a Game Design Masters student at Full Sail University. Currently, I am knee deep in production of my Final Project game, Void Commander, and as of today my team (Baby Ninja) and I will complete our Alpha stage in development. My team is one of two graduating in December (both under the banner of Emergency Broadcast Studios), and this blog is meant to document our progress as well as provide an outlet for fan feedback as we stampede towards the completion and release of our game in the next few months.

Void Commander is a Real Time Strategy (RTS) game set in deep space, drawing inspiration from storylines and gameplay such as Ender's Game, Starcraft, Supreme Commander, Homeworld, and Star Wars: Empire at War. We seem to have lucked out by getting a very talented and motivated team, and due to everyone's effort Void Commander is shaping up quite well. All of us are extremely excited just to be creating a fully functioning videogame, and I personally can't wait to see how it turns out two months from now.
